| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Larry J. Banas of Elwood, who passed away | ||||||
| 4 | on February 19, 2017; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Larry Banas was born to John and Helen (Zavorski) | ||||||
| 6 | Banas on January 7, 1951; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Larry Banas was a skillful carpenter and | ||||||
| 8 | craftsman; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Larry Banas was an avid community volunteer, and | ||||||
| 10 | proud grandparent, father, and husband; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Larry Banas was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
| 12 | and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Larry Banas is survived by his wife, Donna | ||||||
| 14 | (Valentinas) Banas; his sons, Drew (Jennifer) and Aaron Banas; | ||||||
| 15 | his grandchildren, Ryan, Ella, and Joseph Banas; and his | ||||||
| 16 | sister, Valerie Losos; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 19 | Larry J. Banas, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||

| 1 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
