| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Charles E. "Chuck" Chandler of Moline, | ||||||
| 4 | who passed away on April 29, 2021; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Chuck Chandler was born in Rock Island to Lewis | ||||||
| 6 | Eugene and Doris (Skinner) Chandler on January 30, 1945; he | ||||||
| 7 | served in the U.S. Army; he married Nancy Westpfahl in Rock | ||||||
| 8 | Island on July 28, 1998; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Chuck Chandler worked as a truck driver for | ||||||
| 10 | Davenport Packaging and then later for Highland Pack; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Chuck Chandler enjoyed playing euchre as well as | ||||||
| 12 | rebuilding antique cars and trucks; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Chuck Chandler was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 14 | siblings, Edith Palmer, Richard Chandler, Ronald Chandler, | ||||||
| 15 | Harold Chandler, Sam Chandler, and Gary Chandler; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Chuck Chandler is survived by his wife; his | ||||||
| 17 | children, Tammy York, Terri (Paul) Melchi, and Christopher | ||||||
| 18 | (Lisa) Westpfahl; his nine grandchildren; his six | ||||||
| 19 | great-grandchildren; his siblings, Roger (Judy) Chandler, Jeff | ||||||
| 20 | (Mary) Chandler, Linda (Jesse) Tompkins, and Nellie (Butch) | ||||||

| 1 | Penney; therefore, be it

| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
| 3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 4 | Charles E. "Chuck" Chandler and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
| 5 | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | ||||||
| 6 | it further

| 7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 8 | presented to the family of Chuck Chandler as an expression of | ||||||
