SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Charles E. "Chuck" Chandler of Moline,
4who passed away on April 29, 2021; and
5 WHEREAS, Chuck Chandler was born in Rock Island to Lewis
6Eugene and Doris (Skinner) Chandler on January 30, 1945; he
7served in the U.S. Army; he married Nancy Westpfahl in Rock
8Island on July 28, 1998; and
9 WHEREAS, Chuck Chandler worked as a truck driver for
10Davenport Packaging and then later for Highland Pack; and
11 WHEREAS, Chuck Chandler enjoyed playing euchre as well as
12rebuilding antique cars and trucks; and
13 WHEREAS, Chuck Chandler was preceded in death by his
14siblings, Edith Palmer, Richard Chandler, Ronald Chandler,
15Harold Chandler, Sam Chandler, and Gary Chandler; and
16 WHEREAS, Chuck Chandler is survived by his wife; his
17children, Tammy York, Terri (Paul) Melchi, and Christopher
18(Lisa) Westpfahl; his nine grandchildren; his six
19great-grandchildren; his siblings, Roger (Judy) Chandler, Jeff
20(Mary) Chandler, Linda (Jesse) Tompkins, and Nellie (Butch)

1Penney; therefore, be it
2 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Charles E. "Chuck" Chandler and extend our sincere condolences
5to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
6it further
7 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Chuck Chandler as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
