2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Nicholas Charles Anthony Spaniak of Elk | ||||||
4 | Grove Village, who passed away on March 1, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Nicholas Spaniak was born in Chicago on November | ||||||
6 | 9, 1951; he was a veteran of the Air National Guard; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Nicholas Spaniak worked for VW Financial for seven | ||||||
8 | years; he previously worked for Chrysler Financial; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Nicholas Spaniak had a love of life he shared | ||||||
10 | freely and honestly with strangers, friends, and family alike; | ||||||
11 | he was insightful and willing to help those in need, often | ||||||
12 | serving as a mentor and providing guidance; he will be | ||||||
13 | remembered for his sense of humor, sharp wit, and faith in | ||||||
14 | others; and

15 | WHEREAS, Nicholas Spaniak was the beloved husband of | ||||||
16 | Virginia E. (Bryak) of 20 years, the loving father of Nick G. | ||||||
17 | (Lindsey) Spaniak and Dena N. Tamburrino, the dear brother of | ||||||
18 | Laurie (Darryl) Drake, Mary (Lyle) Bell, Don (the late Debbie), | ||||||
19 | and the late George (Barbara), the cherished grandfather of | ||||||
20 | Carli (Anthony) Lauria, and the great-grandfather of Marco and | ||||||
21 | Anthony; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Nicholas Charles Anthony Spaniak and extend our sincere | ||||||
4 | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
5 | him; and be it further
