| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Archie C. Senter, who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | February 17, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Archie Senter was born in Lovelaceville, Kentucky | ||||||
| 6 | on June 8, 1927 to Ernest, Sr. and Willie (nee Johnson) Senter; | ||||||
| 7 | and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Archie Senter was a World War II Army Veteran; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Archie Senter was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 10 | parents; his wife, Ardell Senter; his 2 brothers, Ernest, Jr. | ||||||
| 11 | "Buddy" Senter and William Senter; and his 4 sisters, Irma | ||||||
| 12 | Smith, Mary Porter, Lorraine Head, and Arzell House; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Archie Senter is survived by his 4 children, Jean | ||||||
| 14 | (Eugene) Jones, Sherhonda (Michael) Jackson, Arlene (Sam) | ||||||
| 15 | Hasty, and Bridgette (Ian) Cler; his 5 grandchildren, Jason | ||||||
| 16 | Jones, Chelvic Simmons, Janekka Simmons, Jocelyn (Karim) Ross, | ||||||
| 17 | and Jeanette (John) Humphries; his 7 great-grandchildren; and a | ||||||
| 18 | host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
