| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Nancy C. Rafferty of Grayslake, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on October 4, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Nancy Rafferty was born in 1933 in Libertyville | ||||||
| 6 | and grew up in Highland Park; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Nancy Rafferty was a graduate of Marywoods | ||||||
| 8 | Academy; she subsequently attended Loretto Heights University; | ||||||
| 9 | and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Nancy Rafferty was a member of St. Mary of the | ||||||
| 11 | Annunciation Parish and was a former parishioner of St. Joseph | ||||||
| 12 | Catholic Church in Libertyville; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Nancy Rafferty is survived by her husband of 60 | ||||||
| 14 | years, Alex; 7 children, Theresa (Terrance) Grom, Alex | ||||||
| 15 | Rafferty, Timothy (Lisa) Rafferty, Kevin Rafferty, Kelly | ||||||
| 16 | (Walter) Swietlik, Leslie (Tod) Hoffmann, and Elizabeth | ||||||
| 17 | (James) Jung; 22 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a | ||||||
| 18 | brother, James (Patsy) Kelly; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
