2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Herbert L. Winkel of East Moline, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on January 4, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Herbert Winkel was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to | ||||||
6 | Herbert and Dorothy Wisinski Winkel on February 28, 1941; he | ||||||
7 | served in the United States Air Force and married Mary Annette | ||||||
8 | Begley in Miami Springs, Florida on September 1, 1984; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Herbert Winkel worked as a truck driver; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Herbert Winkel enjoyed watching NASCAR; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Herbert Winkel was preceded in death by his | ||||||
12 | parents; his wife, Mary; and his sister, Sandi Winkel; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Herbert Winkel is survived by his children, Debra | ||||||
14 | McDaniel, Angela Winkel, and Joseph Winkel; his grandson, Ryan | ||||||
15 | Winkel; and his sister, Joan Carlson; therefore, be it
| ||||||
16 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
17 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
18 | Herbert L. Winkel, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
19 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
