2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply | ||||||
3 | saddened to learn of the death of Jerome "Jerry" Brolley of | ||||||
4 | Chicago, who passed away on December 11, 2012; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Jerome Brolley was born on February 12, 1928, in | ||||||
6 | Chicago; he was a Navy veteran; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Jerome Brolley taught U.S. history at North | ||||||
8 | Chicago Community High School, coached football and baseball | ||||||
9 | there, and served as the dean and principal; in his retirement, | ||||||
10 | he sold real estate for CBS Realty of Waukegan and was a driver | ||||||
11 | for Enterprise Rent-A-Car; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Jerome Brolley was an lifelong golfer and at age | ||||||
13 | 84 had his first "hole-in-one"; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Jerome Brolley was preceded in death by his wife | ||||||
15 | of 50 years, Nannette; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Jerome Brolley is survived by his sons, Mark and | ||||||
17 | William; his daughters-in-law, Janet and Cathy; his | ||||||
18 | grandchildren, Ryan, Daniel, John, Tracy, and Matthew; his | ||||||
19 | sisters, Barbara (Jack) Genster and Mary Ann McLain; and many | ||||||
20 | nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Jerome Brolley, and we extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
