Amends the Child Labor Law. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning meal periods.

1 AN ACT concerning employment.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Child Labor Law is amended by changing
5 Section 4 as follows:
6 (820 ILCS 205/4) (from Ch. 48, par. 31.4)
7 Sec. 4. No minor under sixteen (16) years of age shall be
8 employed, or permitted to work in any gainful occupations
9 mentioned in Section 1 of this Act for more than five (5) hours
10 continuously without an interval of at least thirty (30)
11 minutes for meal period, and and no period of less than thirty
12 (30) minutes shall be deemed to interrupt a continuous period
13 of work.
