Bill Title: Amends the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act. Includes myoclonic-astatic epilepsy in the definition of "debilitating medical condition". Provides that the Department of Public Health shall adopt rules for the issuance of a registry identification card for qualifying patients who are under 18 years of age and suffering from myoclonic-astatic epilepsy.

2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2636 as follows:

3 | on page 9, line 21, after " epilepsy ", by inserting " , or as | ||||||
4 | provided by administrative rule "; and
| ||||||
5 | on page 9, line 25, after the period, by inserting " The | ||||||
6 | Department of Public Health may adopt rules to allow other | ||||||
7 | individuals under 18 years of age to become registered | ||||||
8 | qualifying patients under this Act with the consent of a parent | ||||||
9 | or legal guardian. Registered qualifying patients under 18 | ||||||
10 | years of age shall be prohibited from consuming forms of | ||||||
11 | cannabis other than medical cannabis infused products and | ||||||
12 | purchasing any usable cannabis. ".
