1 AN ACT concerning civil law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Mobile Home Landlord and Tenant Rights Act
5is amended by adding Section 14.3 as follows:
6 (765 ILCS 745/14.3 new)
7 Sec. 14.3. Water supply requirement. If exigent
8circumstances arise, the park owner is responsible for
9providing a water supply to each household. The amount shall
10be determined based on the lower-range quantity of water
11needed for survival, per person, pursuant to the World Health
12Organization's guidelines. The park owner shall provide water
13following a 3-day period in which the normal supply of water is
14disrupted, and shall provide water for as long as the
15disruption in water service continues.
16 This Section does not apply if the disruption of water
17service originates from factors outside the control of the
18mobile home park.
