SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
20 ILCS 3105/18 new

Amends the Capital Development Board Act. Requires the Capital Development Board to conduct a study concerning the use of a quantitatively based metric and standard process to assess the quality of the design and construction process used to renovate and construct public buildings. 1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Capital Development Board Act is amended by
5 adding Section 18 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 3105/18 new)
7 Sec. 18. Quantitatively based metric and standard process.
8 To conduct a study concerning the use of a quantitatively based
9 metric and standard process to assess the quality of the design
10 and construction process used to renovate and construct public
11 buildings. The Board shall report its recommendations and
12 findings to the General Assembly as soon as possible.
