Bill Title: Amends the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act. Provides that any person required to report under the Act shall complete no less than 4 hours of training every year to recognize signs of domestic violence against minors and non-minors. Provides that training may be conducted by any local domestic violence shelter, hospital, or other domestic violence advocacy group.

AN ACT concerning children.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act is
amended by adding Section 4.03 as follows:
(325 ILCS 5/4.03 new)
Sec. 4.03. Domestic violence training. Any person required
to report under this Act shall complete no less than 4 hours of
training every year to recognize signs of domestic violence
against minors and non-minors. Training may be conducted by any
local domestic violence shelter, hospital, or other domestic
violence advocacy group.
