1 AN ACT concerning aging.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Senior Citizens and Persons with
5Disabilities Property Tax Relief Act is amended by changing
6Section 3.01 as follows:
7 (320 ILCS 25/3.01) (from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 403.01)
8 Sec. 3.01. Claimant. "Claimant" means an individual who has
9filed a claim for a property tax relief grant under this Act.
10In appropriate contexts, "claimant" may also include a person
11who has applied for pharmaceutical assistance under this Act or
12for other benefits that that are based on eligibility for
13benefits under this Act.
