HOUSE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
Representatives are pleased to congratulate Ronald Starman,
Jeff Johnson, and Merlyn Winchell for being the recipients of
the Lifesaver Award from the Missouri Department of
Corrections; and
WHEREAS, The Lifesaver Award is given by the Missouri
Department of Corrections to staff members that intervene in
serious situations in order to save a person's life; and
WHEREAS, Ronald Starman, Jeff Johnson, and Merlyn Winchell
were designated to receive this prestigious award for their
diligence and superb conduct in responding to life-threatening
situations involving offenders at the Northeast Correctional
Center in Bowling Green, Missouri; and
WHEREAS, Ronald Starman, Jeff Johnson, and Merlyn Winchell
serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the
people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
congratulate Ronald Starman, Jeff Johnson, and Merlyn Winchell
for receiving this prestigious award and wish them continued
