HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of James
4Earl Rencher, who passed away on July 7, 2012; and
5 WHEREAS, James Rencher was born on August 13, 1949; his
6parents were J.W. and Louise Rencher; and
7 WHEREAS, James Rencher accepted Christ and was baptized at
8the age of 12 at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in
9Morley, Missouri; he was educated in the R-3 School District in
10Oran, Missouri; and
11 WHEREAS, James Rencher served his country as a member of
12the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1969 to
131971; and
14 WHEREAS, James Rencher was employed at McDonnell Douglas
15Corporation and IBM for 25 years; he worked in information
16technology for many years; and
17 WHEREAS, James Rencher is survived by his wife, Joan; his
18daughter, Stacie Johnson (Brandon); his beloved grandchildren,
19Owen and Ethan; his parents; his siblings, Mary Phillips
20(Francisco), John Rencher (Gwendolyn), Ann Mann (Al), Bettie

1Graham (Dan), Jean Shipley, Brenda Jemison (Greg), Ronnie
2Rencher (Kenda), Patricia Jordan, and Kathy Matthews
3(William); and his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles,
4cousins, other relatives, and friends; therefore, be it
5 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
6NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
7we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of
8James Earl Rencher; and be it further
9 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of James Rencher as an expression of
11our sympathy.
