2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Mary Lou | ||||||
4 | Herron of McHenry, who passed away on April 21, 2023; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Mary Herron was born to Albert and Marie Oonk in | ||||||
6 | Woodstock on March 15, 1952, and she was raised in McHenry; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Mary Herron owned and operated a home daycare for | ||||||
8 | over 20 years; she later worked for Head Start in McHenry and | ||||||
9 | Bright Horizons in Crystal Lake; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Mary Herron enjoyed making crafts, traveling, and | ||||||
11 | camping; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Mary Herron was preceded in death by her parents; | ||||||
13 | her husbands, David Miller and Raymond Herron; and her | ||||||
14 | brothers, Larry and Irvin; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Mary Herron is survived by her children, Jennifer | ||||||
16 | (Mark) Evins, Josh (Serenity) Jensen, and Sirianna Herron; her | ||||||
17 | grandchildren, Erin, Kiersten (Dakota), Morgin, Matthew | ||||||
18 | (Celine), Laurin, Madison, Jacob, Olivia, and Marty (Nadine); | ||||||
19 | her great-grandchildren, Jaydin, Masin, Maylene, and Savannah; | ||||||
20 | her significant other, Kerry Epstein; her sisters, Trudy |
