2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Willie | ||||||
4 | "Kazoo" Johnson Jr. of Park Forest, who passed away on May 13, | ||||||
5 | 2017; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Willie Johnson was born in Ford Heights to Jorge | ||||||
7 | Santiago and Devola Johnson on June 14, 1959; he attended Bloom | ||||||
8 | Trail High School and spent time in the military; he married | ||||||
9 | Sherri Wallace; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Willie Johnson worked as a laborer, forklift | ||||||
11 | driver, and mechanic; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Willie Johnson never hesitated to help anyone who | ||||||
13 | needed it; he loved to feed everyone and his favorite saying | ||||||
14 | was, "Gotta Eat, Gotta Eat."; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Willie Johnson is survived by his wife, Sherri; | ||||||
16 | his son, Cordaro; his daughters, Brittany and Rebra; his | ||||||
17 | grandsons, Brandon and Jeremiah; his mother, Devola; his | ||||||
18 | siblings, Barbara Jean, Antione, Andre, Christel, Thaddeus | ||||||
19 | (Saprina), Jasmine (Bridgette), Ricardo, Abel, George, Sito, | ||||||
20 | Ben, David, Saul, Danny, Ada, Josefina, Rosa, Nina, and Challa | ||||||
21 | (Jesse); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and |

4 | mourn the passing of Willie "Kazzo" Johnson Jr., and extend our | ||||||
5 | sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew | ||||||
