HOUSE RESOLUTION



2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Willie 
4"Kazoo" Johnson Jr. of Park Forest, who passed away on May 13, 
52017; and


6 WHEREAS, Willie Johnson was born in Ford Heights to Jorge 
7Santiago and Devola Johnson on June 14, 1959; he attended Bloom 
8Trail High School and spent time in the military; he married 
9Sherri Wallace; and


10 WHEREAS, Willie Johnson worked as a laborer, forklift 
11driver, and mechanic; and


12 WHEREAS, Willie Johnson never hesitated to help anyone who 
13needed it; he loved to feed everyone and his favorite saying 
14was, "Gotta Eat, Gotta Eat."; and



15 WHEREAS, Willie Johnson is survived by his wife, Sherri; 
16his son, Cordaro; his daughters, Brittany and Rebra; his 
17grandsons, Brandon and Jeremiah; his mother, Devola; his 
18siblings, Barbara Jean, Antione, Andre, Christel, Thaddeus 
19(Saprina), Jasmine (Bridgette), Ricardo, Abel, George, Sito, 
20Ben, David, Saul, Danny, Ada, Josefina, Rosa, Nina, and Challa 
21(Jesse); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and

1friends; therefore, be it


2 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
3HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
4mourn the passing of Willie "Kazzo" Johnson Jr., and extend our 
5sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew 
6and loved him; and be it further


7 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Willie Johnson as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
