2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Anita Jo | ||||||
4 | Grace of Olive Branch, who passed away on May 15, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Anita Jo Grace was born on September 18, 1961 to | ||||||
6 | Leland and Mary Jo (nee Collins) McKee; she married Walter | ||||||
7 | Grace on February 14, 1981; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Anita Jo Grace was an outstanding member of the | ||||||
9 | business and education communities; she was branch President of | ||||||
10 | the First National Bank of Cairo, where she had worked for the | ||||||
11 | previous 27 years; she served on the board of directors for the | ||||||
12 | Olive Branch Area Community Development Corporation, the Olive | ||||||
13 | Branch Cemetery Association, and the Dodge Memorial Public | ||||||
14 | Library; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Anita Jo Grace was a member of Alexander Freewill | ||||||
16 | Baptist Church and the Rotary Club of Cairo; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Anita Jo Grace is survived by her husband, Walt; | ||||||
18 | her mother, Mary Jo McKee; her daughter, Lesley; her son, | ||||||
19 | Justin (Jessica); her granddaughter, Natalie; her sister, | ||||||
20 | Rhonda Sue Stokes (Terry Hunt); her 2 brothers, Jerry Leland | ||||||
21 | (Georgia) McKee and Michael Lee McKee; her sister-in-law, Dr. |

1 | Linda Grace; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
3 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
4 | mourn the passing of Anita Jo Grace, and extend our sincere | ||||||
5 | condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
6 | her; and be it further
