Bill Title: Amends the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities Act. Provides that, notwithstanding any other law or rule to the contrary, funds held in an individual retirement account, a pension plan, an employer-sponsored 401(k) or 403(b) plan, or a plan established under the Self-Employed Individuals Retirement Act of 1962 shall be exempt and not counted as assets when determining an individual's eligibility for services under the Act. Requires the Department of Human Services to adopt rules that are consistent with the provisions of the amendatory Act.

SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
20 ILCS 2405/3d new

Amends the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities Act.
