SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
20 ILCS 2805/2.11 new

Amends the Department of Veterans Affairs Act. Provides that the Department of Veterans' Affairs may spend up to $30,000 per fiscal year for the purpose of advertising seeking employees to fill open positions at veterans medical facilities. Effective immediately.

1 AN ACT concerning veterans.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Department of Veterans Affairs Act is
5 amended by adding Section 2.11 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 2805/2.11 new)
7 Sec. 2.11. Advertising for employees at veterans medical
8 facilities. The Department may spend up to $30,000 per fiscal
9 year for the purpose of advertising seeking employees to fill
10 open positions at veterans medical facilities.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12 becoming law.
