Amends the School Code. Removes a provision making the grants issued by the State Board of Education to the Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium subject to appropriation. Effective immediately.

1 AN ACT concerning education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section
52-3.142 as follows:
6 (105 ILCS 5/2-3.142)
7 Sec. 2-3.142. Grants to Illinois School Psychology
8Internship Consortium. The Subject to appropriations for this
9purpose, the State Board of Education shall provide grants to
10the Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium for aid in
11providing training programs and facilitating interns to
12improve the educational and mental health services of children
13in this State.

15 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
