SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
20 ILCS 835/4d new

Amends the State Parks Act. 1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The State Parks Act is amended by adding Section
54d as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 835/4d new)
7 Sec. 4d. Limited use of golf carts in State parks. Persons
8over 65 or persons with disabilities who have been issued a
9valid decal or license plate by the Secretary of State under
10Section 3-616 of the Illinois Vehicle Code upon its
11verification may operate a golf cart on paved roads within the
12boundaries of a State park and as otherwise authorized by the
13Department. For the purposes of this Section, "golf cart" as
14the same meaning ascribed to it in Section 1-123.9 of the
15Illinois Vehicle Code.
