Bill Title: Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Provides that any person, firm, corporation, association, agency, institution, or other legal entity that knowingly, by means of a false statement, false representation, concealment of any material fact, or by other fraudulent scheme or device on behalf of himself, herself, or others, obtains payments from a school district to which he, she, or it is not entitled, or in a greater amount than that to which he, she, or it is entitled, commits vendor fraud against a school district. Establishes penalties. Provides that a person convicted of vendor fraud against a school district shall be assessed an additional fine, as determined by the court, which fine shall be deposited in a special fund in the county treasury. Provides that moneys in the fund shall be disbursed upon order of the court for the purpose of funding job training and educational programs for pupils in the school district that has been defrauded.
