Bill Texts: IL SB2800 | 2013-2014 | 98th General Assembly

Bill Title: Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 and the Department of Human Services Act. Reinstates the return of a defendant to the county jail before the court hearing to reexamine the defendant's fitness to stand trial once the supervisor of the defendant's treatment submits his or her report to the court. Requires the Department of Human Services to prepare a report on the impact of the reinstated provision to the Governor and the General Assembly on or before January 2, 2016. Effective immediately.
