Bill Title: Amends the Change of Name Article of the Code of Civil Procedure. Provides that the requirement to publish a notice in the newspaper of a change of name for 3 consecutive weeks after filing is not required for any person who applies for a change of name to change the person's name to conform with the person's gender identity.
