Bill Title: Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that the court may sentence a person convicted of or placed on supervision for an offense that is not a crime of violence to a term of military service in the Armed Forces of the United States instead of a term of imprisonment in a penal institution of this State if certain conditions are met.
