Bill Title: Amends the Emergency Telephone System Act and the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Systems Act. Provides that the corporate authorities of a municipality may not enter into, renew, or extend a contract with a 9-1-1 vendor certified under specified provisions of the Public Utilities Act, provider of emergency services, or emergency vehicle services unless the contract includes a provision requiring written notification of termination by the vendor not less than 12 months prior to termination of services. Provides that if an emergency services contract or dispatch contract is terminated, the provider may not increase the fees of any remaining contract by more than 3% of the fees from the previous year. Effective immediately.
