Bill Title: Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that benefits under the federal Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance Program shall not be considered in determining an individual's financial eligibility for medical assistance. Requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to apply to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for a federal waiver or State Plan amendment if the exemption requires federal approval. Effective January 1, 2020.
