Summary
Amends the Children and Family Services Act. Provides that beginning on the effective date of this amendatory Act, the Department of Children and Family Services shall investigate reports of abuse or neglect of any person between the ages of 18 and 21 years who is identified as having a developmental disability or a mental illness, as defined in the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code, and is receiving services in a residential setting licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services. Effective immediately.
