Summary

Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with the following changes. Specifies that the fees for a new birth certificate or for a search for a birth record shall be waived for requests made by the Office of the State Guardian to the Office of the State Registrar of Vital Records in Springfield (rather than for all requests made by the Office of the State Guardian). Effective July 1, 2025.
