1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3686 | ||||||
2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3686 on page 2, | ||||||
3 | immediately below line 11, by inserting the following: | ||||||
4 | ""Agency-sponsored household battery recycling program" | ||||||
5 | means a household battery recycling program sponsored by the | ||||||
6 | Agency where the Agency provides for the transport, | ||||||
7 | processing, recycling, and other end-of-life management for | ||||||
8 | household-generated batteries collected by Agency collection | ||||||
9 | partners under grant funding provided by the U.S. Department | ||||||
10 | of Energy on or after January 1, 2024."; and

11 | on page 2, immediately below line 22, by inserting the | ||||||
12 | following: | ||||||
13 | ""Battery Stewardship Program" means a program implemented | ||||||
14 | by a battery stewardship organization consistent with an | ||||||
15 | approved battery stewardship plan."; and

16 | on page 3, line 20, by deleting "and"; and

12 | purposes of this Act, "motor vehicle" also includes | ||||||
13 | all-terrain vehicles as defined in Section 1-101.8 of the | ||||||
14 | Illinois Vehicle Code and watercraft as defined in Section 1-2 | ||||||
15 | of the Boat Registration and Safety Act."; and
