| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1490

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1490 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The Local Food, Farms, and Jobs Act is amended | ||||||
| 5 | by changing Section 5 as follows:

| 6 | (30 ILCS 595/5)

| 7 | Sec. 5. Definitions. "Local farm or food products" are | ||||||
| 8 | products: (1) grown in Illinois; or (2) , processed and , | ||||||
| 9 | packaged in Illinois, using at least one ingredient grown in , | ||||||
| 10 | and distributed by Illinois citizens or businesses located | ||||||
| 11 | wholly within the borders of Illinois.
