AMENDMENT TO HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 6
AMENDMENT NO. ___. Amend House Joint Resolution 6 as
follows:
on page 4, line 1, by replacing "3" with "1"; and
on page 4, line 4, by replacing "3" with "1"; and
on page 4, line 6, by replacing "3" with "1"; and
on page 4, line 8, by replacing "3" with "1"; and
on page 4, line 15, by deleting "and"; and
on page 4, lines 17 and 18, by deleting "and be it further";
and

on page 4, after line 18, by inserting the following:
"(9) 2 members who are experts in property law or
heirs' property issues appointed by the Governor; and
(10) 1 member from an organization or nonprofit
dedicated to improving the quality of life for Black
families appointed by the Speaker of the House; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That the Task Force shall elect one of the
legislative members to serve as chair; and be it further".
