Beginning
January
1,
2025,

the
department
of
health
and
human
services
shall
implement

a
tiered
rate
reimbursement
methodology
under
the
Medicaid

program
for
psychiatric
medical
institutions
for
children,
as
5
that
term
is
defined
in
section
135H.1,
based
on
the
level
of
6
patient
acuity.

The
inclusion

this

does

constitute
agreement

explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
requires
that
beginning
January
1,
2025,
the

department
of
health
and
human
services
shall
implement
a

institutions
for
children
based
