Resolution
for
the
selection
and
appointment
of

secretaries
and
pages.

BE
IT
RESOLVED
BY
THE
HOUSE
OF
REPRESENTATIVES,
That

each
member
of
the
House
of
Representatives
shall
be
4
entitled
to
select
and
appoint
a
secretary,
and
such
5
secretary
may
be
called
upon
to
aid
in
the
discharge
of
6
the
clerical
work
of
the
House
of
Representatives.
The
7
Speaker
and
Chief
Clerk
shall
appoint
their
secretaries
8
and
pages
to
serve
for
the
session,
and
the
Chief
Clerk
9
is
hereby
authorized
to
employ
such
additional
clerical
10
assistance
as
her
duties
may
require.
