A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CONDOMINIUM PROPERTY REGIMES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 514B, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"§514B- Condominium educational videos; condominium registration and education website. (a) The department shall include a link on the real estate branch's condominium registration and education website to the educational video program known as Condo Insider, produced by the Hawaii Council of Community Associations.
(b) The department shall include an appropriate disclaimer on the condominium registration and education website, which specifies that the information provided has not been created by the State but has been created and provided by the Hawaii Council of Community Associations, a private nonprofit advocacy group for condominium and community associations, as a public service to help educate condominium owners, condominium residents, and association board members."
SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
