A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to the Board of land and natural resources.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 200, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"§200- Ocean recreation-related tournaments; state boating facilities; permits; fee; waiver. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the board may waive any costs associated with a right-of-entry permit to any nonprofit entity for purposes of holding an ocean recreation-related tournament, including any ancillary services."
SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
