A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO THE HONOLULU BIENNIAL INTERNATIONAL ARTS EXHIBITION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2018-2019 as a grant pursuant to chapter 42F, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to the Honolulu Biennial Foundation for the purposes of funding the Honolulu Biennial 2019, an international arts exhibition to be staged on the islands of Oahu and Hawaii to celebrate contemporary visual art from the Pacific, the United States, and Asia.
The sum appropriated shall be expended by the state foundation on culture and the arts for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on June 15, 1215.
