A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO HEALTH CARE COORDINATION.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $           or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2017-2018 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2018-2019 for the public-private partnership established by section 323F-12, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to solicit proposals to reduce the wait list at Maui memorial medical center, improve the quality of care, and reduce state subsidies to Maui memorial medical center related to wait list issues.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the Hawaii health systems corporation for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2017.
