A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO THE ACCESS HAWAII COMMITTEE.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  Chapter 27G, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

     "§27G-    Access Hawaii committee special fund.  There is established in the state treasury the access Hawaii committee special fund, into which shall be deposited fees collected by the information and communication services division within the department of accounting and general services for the purpose of supporting the access Hawaii committee.  Expenditures from the access Hawaii committee special fund shall be approved by the access Hawaii committee."

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the access Hawaii committee special fund the sum of $185,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for fiscal year 2010-2011 for the purposes of supporting the access Hawaii committee.

     The sum appropriated shall be expended by the access Hawaii committee for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 3.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 4.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
