A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO ELECTIONS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 11, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"§11- Election procurements. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the requirements of section 103D-312 any administrative rules adopted thereunder shall not apply to procurements initiated by the office of elections."
SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
