HOUSE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City and County of Honolulu has nine satellite city hall offices across Oahu; and
WHEREAS, due to the lack of a satellite city hall in Mililani, local residents need to travel outside their community to access essential government services, which may be challenging for the elderly population; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Thirty-second Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2024, that the City and County of Honolulu is urged to establish a new satellite city hall office in Mililani to bring government services closer to local residents; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the City and County of Honolulu and the Honolulu City Council are requested to support additional funding and resources to create the Mililani satellite city hall; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu, Councilmembers of the Honolulu City Council, and Director of Customer Services of the City and County of Honolulu.
