A BILL FOR AN ACT


 

 

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SAFE HAVEN AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $600,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2009-2010 as a grant-in-aid for the county of Hawaii to fund the safe haven after school program.

     The sum appropriated shall be expended by the county of Hawaii for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
