A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to bag limits.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 183D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to part IV to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"§183D- Bag limits
on certain game mammals; prohibited. (a) The department shall not impose any bag limit on
the following game mammals, regardless of breed: deer, goats, and pigs.
(b) The department shall adopt rules pursuant to chapter 91 to effectuate out the purpose of this section."
SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
