A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO THE PUBLIC HOUSING AUTHORITY.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $        or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2013-2014 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 to leverage funds for the redevelopment of the Mayor Wright homes; provided that no funds appropriated under this Act shall be expended unless matched dollar-for-dollar with private or federal funds.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the Hawaii public housing authority for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2030.

Description:

Appropriates unspecified amounts of funds to the HPHA to leverage funds for the redevelopment of the Mayor Wright homes.  Requires dollar-for-dollar matching with private or federal funds before appropriations may be expended.  Effective July 1, 2030.  (HB1119 HD1)
