Summary
Codifies with modifications Act 290, Session Laws of Hawaii 1997, for the registration of, and issuance of license plates for, electric vehicles, and the exemptions from parking fees and high occupancy vehicle lane restrictions. Allows the Department of Transportation to adopt rules for the registration of, and issuance of license plates for, electric vehicles. Effective January 1, 2013, and repealed on December 31, 2019. (HB2484 HD2)
