Summary

Requires that each electric utility company that sells electricity for consumption in the State develop a renewable portfolio standard goal of one hundred per cent of its net electricity sales. Requires the Public Utilities Commission to investigate the feasibility of updating the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiatives Program plans and Renewable Portfolio Standards to include benchmarks beyond 2030 and report its findings to the legislature.
