RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Zach Young; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Zach Young is an outstanding student at Bremen High School where he has excelled
in the academic curriculum and brought fame and honor to the school and
community as a state wrestling champion; and
WHEREAS,
with seven years of experience in the sport, Zach's skills and techniques earned
him a reputation for excellence and sportsmanship in wrestling; and
WHEREAS,
as a freshman, he has made an impression on the sport, earning the title of 2009
Area Tournament Champion, Landmark Invitational Runner-Up, and Mt. Zion
Invitational Tournament Runner-Up before winning the title of 2009 State
Champion; and
WHEREAS,
the Bremen High School wrestling team looks forward to another ultrasuccessful
year with Zach set to lead the team to greatness, and countless victories are
expected from this talented wrestler; and
WHEREAS,
the Bremen community and the State of Georgia take great pride in the
accomplishments of this outstanding young champion and applaud the fine example
he has set for student athletes across this state; and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia looks with great anticipation toward the future of this
bright and promising young citizen.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
and congratulate Zach Young on his state wrestling championship and extend to
him their most sincere best wishes for continued success and
happiness.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Zach Young.
